Nxegen completes wireless communications infrastructure in New Haven and Hartford Counties

Nxegen has completed the installation and commissioning of its wireless communications links in the Connecticut counties of New Haven and Hartford. Nxegen’s proprietary wireless communication hubs provide a real-time link to energy consumer’s energy use information. The wireless hubs can service in excess of 5,000 customers. They provide real-time access to energy use information and two-way automated controls to minimize costly demand charges during targeted periods of the day.

Nxegen’s real-time monitoring and load management services provide the energy consumer with valuable information to understand how they consume energy and what factors drive their energy costs. Load management services seamlessly control customer’s energy use without impacting their business process. Nxegen’s proprietary wireless solutions provide a real-time “link” to controlling energy costs.

Nxegen anticipates completing its communications network to provide 100% coverage in the State of Connecticut by July, 2002.
