We currently have opportunites for Energy Auditors to assist Engineering and Construction Teams developing energy
efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and conduct comprehensive lighting audits at customer project site facilities.
Collect and input data involving project site lighting, calculate savings, prepare reports, and design new lighting systems using appropriate technology.
Prepare technical documents, construction budgets, rebate applications, product specifications, bid packages, and related material.
Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under aggressive deadlines.
Prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years experience in engineering, technical or energy related work environment with a strong working knowledge of commercial lighting and controls systems.
Technical degree in HVAC, electrical or mechanical systems preferred.
MS Office proficiency, including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
Maybe required to pass security clearance investigation.

Energy Conservation Consultants Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage a productive geographic territory rich with opportunity.
Be familiar with schools, medical facilities, municipalities and large businesses in your geography.
Visit customer sites to conduct detailed lighting, HVAC, metering and energy-saving assessments.
Gather key project information including utility, technical, and financial data.
Identify lighting and energy measures to improve energy efficiency through new technology or upgrades.
Develop customer proposals for creative solutions to reduce energy consumption and increase energy efficiency.
Sell energy efficiency solutions to prime customers.
Manage and grow key relationships with trade allies and civic organizations.
Participate in seminars, green events and energy saving education opportunities.

Nxegen, LLC, a prominent Energy Efficiency and Conservation firm located in New England, seeks a junior project engineer and/or project manager.
The electrical project manager (EPM) reports to the manager of the Electrical Department. Job responsibilities include lighting project management,
purchasing and job execution and completion.
When a job is sold, Nxegen assigns a project manager who becomes responsible for the job’s execution and completion. The EPM is expected to gather,
understand and keep current all project documentation. The EPM will develop a project schedule. The PM will review the project scope, material
requirements and prepare purchase orders. Scope and project changes will be documented and prepared and presented for client approval. The project
sales team will be kept up to date on project details. More than one project may be managed.
The ideal candidate will have commercial or industrial project engineer or project manager experience. Projects will include energy efficient lighting
including LED, HVAC and other building systems. Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project is required.

Nxegen, LLC, is seeking an experienced business development (writer or support person) based in our Middletown,
CT headquarters. Qualified candidates will coordinate, draft, edit and produce proposal responses, qualifications materials
and reports to assist our staff in their business development, sales activities and client reporting. Lighting
industry knowledge and background a definite plus.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an energy efficiency related industry and have 2+ years experience
in a writing or production support position. As part of a small business team, the position will require a flexible
person with skills that include developing and writing proposals, working with spreadsheets, inserting files and images
into reports, producing and copying documents and some clerical work.
Computer skills must include full competency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point. The candidate
should be well organized, hard working, have a positive attitude and be interested in personal growth.
